What we fit
We carry out complete bathroom refurbishments, including stripping back the existing room where needed, renewing plumbing, preparing walls and floors, tiling and fitting.
We can also create an en suite from adjoining space, add a downstairs shower room as part of a garage conversion, or install a wet room with waterproofing and carefully graded flooring for effective drainage.
Heated towel rails, underfloor heating and ventilation can be incorporated during the installation, with the work coordinated before walls and floors are finished.
The process
How the job runs
Measure up.
We come out and look at the room, the pipe runs, the soil stack and the floor before anyone quotes.
Strip out.
The old suite, tiles and floor come out and we see what the walls and joists are like.
First fix.
Pipework and cables are moved to where the new layout needs them. The floor is boarded and, for a wet room, tanked.
Boarding and plaster.
Walls are boarded and skimmed so the tiles have a flat, sound surface to go on.
Tile and fit.
Wall and floor tiling, then the suite, the shower, the taps and the lights are fitted and connected.
Handover.
Everything is tested, sealed, cleaned and handed over.

Our own tilers fit your chosen wall and floor tiles with care and attention to detail. We plan the layout before fitting begins, aligning joints, positioning cuts discreetly and ensuring a consistent finish around doorways, corners and fittings.

For a recent project in Newcastle, we refurbished three bathrooms in one home, each with a new shower, toilet, basin, heated towel rail and tiling. Planning the selections together helped create a coordinated design while giving each room its own character.
