More Space, Designed Around Your Home

Whether you need a larger kitchen opening onto the garden, a separate dining or family room, additional bedrooms and bathrooms, or a bright garden room with rooflights, an extension can transform how you use your home.

Every property is different. We'll discuss your ideas, assess the existing building and explain the practical options, including whether an additional storey is possible above an existing extension.

The process

How the job runs

  1. Survey and drawings.

We measure up and look at the drains, the levels and where the sun sits before anyone quotes. If you already have an architect's drawings, we work from those.

  2. Groundworks.

The footings are dug and poured, and drains are moved if they are in the way. This is the muddy part.

  3. Walls and roof.

Blockwork and brick go up and the roof goes on. The steel goes in where the old wall will come out.

  4. First fix.

Wiring, plumbing and the new openings for doors and windows. The house gets dusty here, and we sheet off what we can.

  5. Finish.

Plaster, floors, the kitchen or bathroom if there is one, doors, paint and building control sign-off. Then we clean up and hand it over.

Connecting Your Extension to Your Home

Opening up the existing wall is a key stage of your extension, carefully planned to minimise disruption and exposure to the weather. Wherever possible, we complete the new structure and roof before connecting the two spaces.

Temporary supports and structural steelwork are installed in the sequence specified for your project. We'll explain what's involved, agree the timing with you in advance and let you know if you need to be away from the affected areas while work takes place.

Expert Guidance on the Finishing Touches

Our in-house interior designer helps you choose tiles, worktops, flooring and paint that complement your home and suit your lifestyle.

Before materials are ordered, she'll guide you through the options, considering appearance, durability and everyday use. The final choices are yours, with professional advice to help you decide with confidence.

I had an extension fitted not long ago, could not recommend these guys more. Extremely professional, reasonably priced and made you feel very comfortable. Highly highly recommended.
